Indeed a wonderful 4-track recorded album. Supposedly Clapp is working on
the follow up to the Orange Peels' (added Larry Winther, guitarist
from the Mummies) "Square". The production was slicker, but I think the
songwriting took a little dip on that one. I think "100%" sounds perfect
for the songs, but according to Allen it was only out of necessity..
Speaking of, man some of those Mummies records are outrageous! One song
has an incredibly fierce gtr solo that causes it to come unplugged. Thank
god they left it on the record. Anybody ever see them live?
