In the Guardian newspaper last week there was a list of the "Alternative" top 100
Albums of All Time. They pre-excluded all the 'popular' ones, then had 50 people from
the music business pick their favorites... They discounted After the Gold Rush,
Harvest and Rust Never Sleeps (too 'pouplar'), but these made it into the 100 -
18. Buffalo Springfield - Buffalo Springfield Again
44. Neil Young - Tonight's the Night
71. Neil Young - On the Beach
83. Neil Young - Arc/Weld
Oh, and Lucinda Williams included Arc/Weld and Last Time Around (Springfield) in her
top three.
