         And isn't it interesting that as Dylan heads into his final artistsic
"lap" he seems to be tilting more and more toward country than any other pop
genre, at least in terms of instrumentation?  I just find that darned
interesting, and I wonder what Dylan's more folk and rock-based fans think of
it.

      And why he still plays "The Times They Are A-Changin'" I can't fathom.
I guess it makes me sound overly pessimistic, but if there was one of Dylan's
protest-oriented songs that seems most out of step with the current climate
I'd have to say that's it.
