Wondering if anyone has a feel for how this big-label dropping a shitload
of bands that are then gonna get picked up by the indies is going to
affect bands already on indie, or aspiring to indie, labels. Is it going
to be like when the varsity team cuts a bunch of players, who then try out
for JV, thus sending a bunch of JV players straight to the bench? I guess
I should give up that dream about quitting newspapers, learning to play
guitar, and becoming a big star, that's what I are. -- Terry Smith
