With a sad and heavy heart I must announce that the Asylum Street Spankers
are looking for musicians due to the departure of violin player Eamon
McLaughlin AND clarinet player (the amazing, the wonderful...) Stanley
Smith.
Interested musicians must be incredibly badass. In fact, unless you have
chops to burn, don't bother. Violin players should be extremely familiar
with the work of Stephane Grappelli. Though a clarinet player would be
ideal, the band is open to working with any horn player who can keep up
with them and is fluent in jazz. Interested parties must be willing to
tour year round and relocate to Austin, TX.
Multi-instrumentalists are highly desirable.
