Inbound relaying typically goes like this (example taken from https://www.postfix.org/STANDARD_CONFIGURATION_README.html) On the primary MX: /etc/postfix/main.cf: relay_domains = example.com relay_transport = relay relay_recipient_maps = lmdb:/etc/postfix/relay_recipients transport_maps = lmdb:/etc/postfix/transport ... /etc/postfix/relay_recipients: [email protected] x [email protected] x . . . /etc/postfix/transport: example.com relay:[inside-gateway.example.com] /etc/postfix/master.cf: relay .. .. .. .. .. .. smtp -o smtputf8_enable=no This will receive SMTPUTF8 messages from external sites and forward them to a non-SMTPUTF8 internal server.
