Not necessarily slow, OS 9.1 can be quite satisfactorily speedy on a 2300C, caveated (!) :-) by two things:
1) you must have _real_ 56MB ram (2300's maximum) and! B) you gotta replace the puke-slow original HD with a modern, fast drive (say 8 or 10 GBs at least.) With those two conditions met you _will_ be satisfied with OS 9.1. If you can't do either, then go with the other recommendations. dan k (once again, couldn't resist being an OS9-pushin' troll!) ................................. http://macdan.n3.net/ carracho://dankephoto.dhs.org:9700 hotline://dankephoto.dhs.org:9500 ................................. -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
