To be honest, as everyone knows, my main Mac for a while was my 190,
but now that I think about it, I had to use my PeeCee for so much back
then that the 190 never saw any serious duty as anything other than a
word processing machine. Now that I've gotten my Lombard, I don't even
use my year-old desktop PC, because it's such a pain compared to my
Lombard and OS X. To be completely honest, I can't see how I'd get by
without my Lombard, now that I've got one. It's plenty old enough, and
it's still semi-respectable.

Um, well, curiously, why would anyone run an old 'Book as their main
Mac?
This past summer I broke out my 5300c (is that "old" enough?) and used
it
for about three weeks as my main Mac when the monitor on my G3 Beige
died
(took that long to get another monitor), but other than that, for me, a
unless you ARE rich and can afford to buy one of those G4 iBooks, a
Powerbook is something to use OUTSIDE or while TRAVELING, not at home
as
my main machine. Now I'm presently out my Beige again for awhile (this
time due to an attempted processor upgrade which botched miserably), so
I'm back on an old system, but this time I was able to use my 7200/120
as
the temporary replacement since I don't have monitor problems. So why
did
I pick the 7200 over the 'Book? Because I figured the 120 MHz processor
in the 7200 would give me slightly less severe headaches than the 100
MHz
processor in the 5300. It's a big bad jump back, but until I get my
Beige
back, I gotta live with it. Eeesh.
No G4s here of ANY kind, and given MY finances, not likely. LOL
