I have down loaded, Adobe, Apple and Stuffit Deluxe upgrades and they are all with a .dmg suffix. What is this crap. When I try to open one I get a "this program is not compatible with your system. My system is OSX and OS 9.2, whatsss happeninngg?

Tried my computer dictionary sites and Computer Encyclopedia sites and nothing comes up. Some with Sherlock.
