I've had no problems with .dmg files in OSX. But this is on a G4 dualie. I have not tried to put OSX on my PCP. Could that be part of the problem? Netscape has nothing to do with .dmg files. It's like downloading an .exe file and wondering if Netscape has anything to do with why it won't function on a Mac. HTH
