Have you looked at the menus? Under "Edit" there is a nice "Spelling" item, with several options; I have "Check Spelling as I type" checked, and if I need to know how to spell something I use the "Spelling..." item via Cmd-: (ie, Command - colon) which offers suggestions and allows me to add new words to the dictionary. Cmd keys may be different outside US, but they would be listed in those menu items. >If I use PM prefs to set up spelling as an external application then I >am unable to find either CocoaSpell or Aspell, neither can I set up any >spelling prefs. There are not external applications; they are system utilities. Excalibur would be an external application. Hope that helps :) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Lane Roathe, President Ideas From the Deep <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <http://www.ifd.com> ___________________________________________________________________ Since the Internet has no walls or fences, who needs Windows or Gates?
