Palo Verde uses a diluted mixture of glycerin and water. It does not pose any chemistry problems but on certain surfaces it can be difficult to remove, especially when applied in higher concentrations. We typically apply it to a small test area first. In lieu of encapsulation, we have had a lot of success simply decontaminating items using a 10% solution of Detergent 8. This is also a chemistry friendly product, easy to apply, and highly effective.
