Have you tried forcing the program to run on only 1 of the CPU's? In
the "Task Manager" there is a way to force a process to have an
"affinity" for a particular CPU, but my multi-core Windows machine is
temporarily out of commission and cant tell you exactly how, but take a
look at the URL

info (right-click on the process in TaskManager). Let us know if that
