These are the primary registrars for those domains. Anyone else is a reseller registrar and it is wise to deal with them knowing that. Probably most are upright and honest - certainly the one I deal with regularly seems to be.
If you have checked with a reseller's online listing - do check direct with the primary registrar. I have in the past experienced names that are 'supposedly' registered with a reseller but in reality are not.
As a web designer I buy a reasonable number of domains so I have been able to establish a relationship with a bona fide reseller. For anyone else - I recommend caution. As has already been said - you get what you pay for - so cheaper is not better.
I suspect we may be veering away from an acceptable list topic although this is something we all need to be aware of - hope that's OK List Mum.
