How about uploading a scan of the affected area?
I didn't think I would get the lines to show up with my toy scanner. The fact that they do show is testament to how obvious they are...
Have a look at the two 'bwstepwedge' files here <http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mailonix/canontest/>, there's a tif and a jpg of the same scan. I have adjusted the levels a bit to bring the lines out but it will nevertheless show you what I am on about.
Perhaps John Begg can attest to the fact that this is a reasonable representation of the problem. The lines can easily be seen with the naked eye.
Let me know what you think. I'll pass comments on to Canon one final time.
I really want this printer! It has separate ink tanks, an easily replaceable head, it's A3 and not an Epson. If only I could get decent prints from it... :-)
Thanks again
