Can you tell if it draws any of the ipod's power, or does it all come from the reader?
The reason I ask is that Belkin's site says it can do 3 gigs on a set of batteries, which is decent if not amazing for a card reader. If it doesn't flatten the ipod at all whilst doing this, then it would be possible to carry more batteries and do big downloads all day, which has been a problem for most storage devices.
