[PRODIG] Calibrating Apple Cinema?

I am just replacing one of my older monitors with an Apple Cinema flat 
screen. The guy at Jigsaw suggested that the LaCie Blueeye 1 could be 
used to calibrate it. To be more accurate he said SOME people had used 
it succesfully. Does anyone have any experience?

PS I notice that the LaCie notes includes the Douglas Adams phrase; 
"Don't Panic!"
