I am assuming you say a proof, or submitted a proof to the printer,
and the proof color was ok. so then explain to the printer your
concerns and express to them(in no uncertain terms) that the
inconsistancy is unacceptable...be firm but polite. Indeed this was a
press error and I would request a reprint(at no cost). This is not
normal but s..t happens. and You are correct in expecting better.
