Essentially the colour vary across the press bed. And  they must have tiled
your postcards to fill the paper format.
Essentially it's bad process control and something you should complain about
and either get part of the money refunded or have the entire job reprinted.

There is a certain amount of inconsistency which inevitably will happen on
press but it shouldn't be too much for a sheet fed press. It's hard to put
numbers on but it shouldn't vary more than 2-4% for the extremes.
