We were in a hurry to get the EOS 1Ds Mark II for a trip to the Middle East. The camera didn't arrive in time, probably fortunately because now that we have it we have been unable to open the RAW files in CS.
We've been using CS and RAW successfully for a few months with a 10D without problems. The files from the Mark II appear on the browser but will not open as they are not the right type of files. We presume that Adobe have not yet been able to update the RAW software. We have downloaded DNG Converter and Camera Raw 2.3 but still no joy. We can open the files and convert them to Tiffs from the Canon software but this seems extremely limited in its application and slow. It seems a pity to have to bypass the advantages of using Adobe Camera Raw particularly as the few files that we have converted to Tiffs look exceptionally good. Is anyone able to offer a solution please? Thanks in advance.
