Although C1 was one of the first to support processing EOS 1ds Mk2 raw files, the 1Ds Mk2 doesn't work tethered with C1 on a Mac at all. Alan. I've used a 1Ds tethered to a pc laptop via C1 with perfect results every time. Even letting the camera, laptop or both to power down, they find one another again no problem! However I haven't yet tried a 1Ds mk II and if it's the same situation as you say with a Mac it will be a big turn off!
