I have a photograph of a piece of stained glass that has bevelled
glass going at right angles in the form of a cross. Whatever the
lighting, it is not possible to get the horizontal bevels to be
obviously bevelled. This would not create a problem, as I can copy an
upright bevel and rotate to cover the non bevel looking part.
However, as it is not perfectly perfect, the Bevel is very slightly
rotated off upright. I need it to be slightly rotated to fit the
horizontal, which is pretty true. Is there something obvious I am
missing? How would any of you do this? My workflow here has been:
1. Select good upright bevel piece.
2. Copy this to clipboard
3. Create new document and paste upright into exact space.
4. Rotate 90 degrees.
5. Select all
6. Paste into document and nudge into place. This leaves a slightly
angled bevelled piece of glass that does not quite fit the place.

'What I would like to do is to take that layer and just slightly
rotate it so that it lines up with the underlying layer.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Ellie
