I agree to what your saying that SOA is a way to go.  In my clients case the
diverse params you have to assign in your inbound xml for my SOA to process
is more then custid, pw, start date and end date.  They demand station, or a
group of stations, a single aircraft or an aircraft type.  They are working
for FedEx, and not looking for a package that is shipped via FedEx.

I'm not confused at all.  I can clearly see the difference between the
access available through a SOA, and requirements that need refining to allow
the requestor the proper data choices.
