Paul - I could maybe TRY something like what you wrote below. But, I
suspect it won't work - since, when it DOES crash - it's a Bad one that
totally crashes ALL of FoxPro!

Sometimes I do this:

on error e=error()
scan
   e = 0
   bla = mymemofield
   if e > 0
      delete
   endif
endscan

Then I deal with the deleted records.
