------------------------------ here are about 100+ http://www.asp.net/learn/ I also recommend the www.learnvisualstudio.net which is a FEE based site. I got in years ago at 99. for a lifetime membership. They have 300+ videos and are cranking out maybe 2 per week. Your not much on frameworks? WTF? You made one for yourself for doing all the data via mySQL. You mean you don't want to have to learn someone else's. ;-> .NET in vs2008 is amazing in what it delivers to the developer. you have control of javascript and debugging of it as well as great control over css files. Getting away from the web you can do a win form app or take the leap over to a WPF one that give you much better visual tools to "present" data to your users. You can hook into ANY data you want to. It is always going to be abstracted so no big deal there. You can play with linq for XML because XML and XSLT is just a bore. Bad Steve!!!! You can fight with security because you never knew it was there. Or you can work with the ever changing security in this industry easily. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer Mimeo.com Memphis TN 901.246-0159 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
