Malcolm, No contest really. Parallels do a copy of Doubletake backup software (released last month) that will back up the VM environment in real time so you have real time server mirroring - or snapshots.
It works really well and as others on the list know I have been using Doubletake here at Flexipol for almost 2 years now and it has NEVER failed me i.e we do a test server failover once a month.
