As far as I know, from this latest PT 11 update we are on board with waves accessibility. I use waves on protools 8 with a control surfase, but in 11 that is no longer needed, it can be done from the keyboard. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Sparrow" <i...@sparrowsound.com.au>

Yes they do, they have an extinsive sweet of native affects just like Sonar.

All of the native settings for the plugins unlike Sonar are accessible down to the DB, attack, release, delays, and reverbs without needing HSC sets and
going through the track inspector that only gives values in percentages
which can be like flying in the blind, no pun intended.

Hi all,
Yes I know and I have been working with a Mac and VoiceOver so I know
whats all about.
Just need to get my Ilok. But when I have installed Protools 11, I can
start learning how it works since I am very interested in this and
also switching from Sonar.
But I just want to be sure that I can do the same things as I do with
Sonar and that is accessible working with effects, changing the
parameters of them, etc.
Protools has some real time effects, such as reverbs right? Are they
accessible with VoiceOver Many thanks, Christian

There is no PT access on the PC just so you know. You have to have a mac.

Hi all,
I am going to try out Protools 11, but I just want to get a few tips
from
you who use it.
Going to download the trial.
As I am thinking, eventually, switching to the Mac and also use
Protools instead of Cakewalk Sonar, has anyone else done that?
As I will be working mostly with MIDI and a little audio.
Is automation accessible in Protools, like creating realtime fades,
pans,
etc?
Many thanks,
Christian
