Sadly, I think Plextor's support for the product is rather meager, and the fact that they do not provide parts uniformly throughout the market is shocking. Also, their lack of major updates is quite disappointing. APH is constantly updating their technology products This nearly $1000 unit barely gets one or two insignificant updates each year, if that.
