That is why when you stop the machine and start recording you don't need to press the track button because it already created a new track. This is what happens in the could mode. But when you are inthe daisy mode it is different. I learned this when I was record directly on the card. When you record directly on a card you are in the daisy mode. There is two good things recording directly to card when you make a mistake you can fix it and you can make as many copies as you heart desires. Sometimes I have had problems transfering card to disk somehow it gets jammed and the only way you can make it quit turn off your machine by unpluging it and taking out your batteries and put them back in again But then you have ruined your disk and then you have to throw it away. I don't know what causes this to happen and no one has been able to help me with this. Linda Reeder
