Jason: Just to follow up on Aman's response, you can use the type II compact flash; I know because I just bought a Sandisk 2GB Ultra II compact flash card for my Plextalk. Now, come to find out, courtesy of Aman's response to you, that the Plextalk doesn't or can't even use the 9MB / 10MB per second read / write speed of these flash memory cards. In reading the packaging that came with the card, it really does appear that the high-speed writing feature is driven by considerations germane to the digital camera application.
