No guarantee that it will resolve your problem but the next time it happens instead of taking out the batteries try switching your key describer lock switch all the way to the right and then back to the left in its normal position.

Hi all -
I've just started using a new batch of CDRs with the PTR1 and a strange thing is happening.
I burn a full disk of MP3 files, and they play fine on my PC, and in my DVD cinema system, but when I come to play them in the PTR1, Jennifer tells me the disk is an MP3 disk, but then the player seems to lock up, and pressing any of the buttons doesn't do anything. The machine doesn't shut down, or give the message that this is a damaged disk, it just sits there; I can hear that it is still on as there is a quiet hiss from the speaker, and the only way to reset it is to remove the battery.
It might well be that these discs won't work with the PTR1 for some reason, but I would have expected an error message about the disk, rather than the machine just freezing.
Anybody any thoughts?
Andy

Yes you can record directly on to a 80 minute CD You can press thetrackchange button after each song. When you turn off the machine so thatyoumusiccan turn the tape over Remember when you put it on record again it automatically starts a new track. It does this when you are in theCDto
mode. Linda Reeder
