Ok, I guess it doesn't matter, but if you read the section o in the
manual that tells you about the disks they recommended, I would
think that the disks are over rated for that machine. There is a
section that talks about that, and from what I understand, they were
talking about disks that were over rated. I had some disks that
were 52 x speed that I used on my Macintosh g4, and when I try to
burn anything to them, the Mack wouldn't except them. Also the
reflected side, that is, the under side of the disk, has a lot to do
with how the ptr1 and the disks behave with each other. The disks
that you buy, especially the ones that are cheep, usually have a
silver reflected side. There for, you are likely to have trouble
burnning mp3s, because of the lazer that is in the ptr1. If you buy
disks that have a gold reflected side, you are more likely to get
abetter burn, and your able to burn mp3s. So, what I am saying, is
that you get what you pay for, and that is how the record companies
make there money, and that is how they get you. So, my
recommendation, is to get cdrs, that have a gold reflected serface.
you will pay a little more, but you are more likely to have better
luck burning mp3s or wave files for that matter.
