Hi,

Sernet on the Q40/Q60 does work as I have "serneted??" all these machines,
in addition I have have sernet v2.2 runnning between the following :

Machine Baud Rate
Q40 - QXL 38400
Q40 - Aurora Ser1/2 9600 - This was the only speed I could get
reliable data flow.
Q40 - Aurora Superhermes Does not work, can not get sernet to recognise
the Superhermes SER3 port
Q40 - Atari ST Emulator 38400
Q40 - Q40 115200
Q40 - QPC2 115200
Q40 - UQLX Can not get it to work, but since UQLX
can write to a SMSQ/E partition. Not worth it.

The Q60 uses the same SMSQ/E as the Q40, so it should work OK. But you never
know.

The serial transfer bewteen Q40-Q40 is faster than Q40-QPC2 do no know
why... maybe the cache that the 68060 uses.

UQLX, I cannot get sernet to work. But I would rather have a 10-100Mps
TCP/IP connection to the Q60/40... than a sloooow serial connection.

The cable I used was a standard null modem lead from Maplin Electronics in
the UK. No need to mess about sodering wires.

I have made a 4 port serial cable for a sernet hub, maybe make a little box
for it. But I am unsure whether to use 9 pin or 25 pin connectors.
