Similar problem with Roy Wood.  Oddly Berndt was there, but Roy's config
was fine.  It was simply he used a null modem lead to a QL.  Wiring a
'proper' crossover lead (as I described previously) got the link going
instantly.

Mind you a lot of QLs have faulty serial ports - and if a port has not
been used for intensive two way work, it may never have show up.

Oh yes of course - with a QL one can use a straight through serial lead
via ser1.

I haven't seen the help files - surely they give the correct wiring?
