Hi

I have done another test, prompted by the comments regarding re-writing to the screen. My little test program, did mean that in every loop the screen was completly re-writen. If my understanding is correct.

So since I have a fairly complex boot program, loading extentions and sorting out between different platforms etc. It has some screen stuff as well. So is most likly more representive of a real program. I now measure 3.57 times slower than QPC. So this clearly more complicated than I first thought.

I did not mean to miss lead anybody, I think SMSQmulator is great. I just did not know that screen writing would have such an effect. But clearly it does. I did say people should check the programs they want to use on SMSQmulator. I just did this to offer some feedback.

It also explains why I did not find any problem with speed using xchange for example.

Do you think you could send me a small file (one line basic would be
enough) with that, so that I could test it?

Sure, sending one off list.
