This way the Registrar (Wolfgang) does not have to become a commercial vendor and can stay away from $$. I don't know about the license, but I don't think it would disallow a vendor from becoming a VAR (Value Added Reseller) of the Source Code, esp. a vendor allowed to sell binary copies of SMSQ/E.
