It's good to see the "Teach" (as Breezy would say) posting on the Q-List
again. I have used all three kinds of catheters, and have found that my body
will immediately reject a Teflon catheter. The latex ones will work, but they
don't last long before I need to change them. The silicone coated latex ones
work best for me too, in my experience.

After some reading I found there were two types opf latex catheters... teflon
coated and silicone coated. Most warehouse-type places send whatever they
happen to grab when they pull your order. I fopund I had to specify "silicone
coated latex" NOT silicone, not latex and not teflon coated. HAS TO BE silicone
coated.
I don't know who you get your supplies from but I've found Edgepark to great at
sending monthly orders without having to call all the time (unless something
changes) and almost always getting it right! And never any problems with
returns when they do goof.
