I happily browse on my quadra 800 - I use maclynx if I want text only
browsing (fast, but no pics, javascript,etc) and Netscape 3 if I want more.

I find Netscape 3 works for most of the sites I want to visit, and is
acceptably fast - even with my 33k modem.
