Hi Jim, I did offer it to him but he has bought another car in the meantime. Have mailed the second highest bidder as well just in case they were interested.
If I thought an MOT would inflate the value I would do the work but by the time I insure it to get it to the MOT station (or hire trailers etc) I doubt I would recoup significantly more money. The other option is to break the car depending on what the interest in bits may be.
