Thanks everyone, and specially Chris. I'm familiar with the spring clips 
and had not seen a pair of screws to hold the cap before - so mine with the 
screws must be Lucas. Are they completely interchangeable? There seem to be 
many types available on the usual websites but as soon as I try to specify 
the exact one I can't find one like that.

Does anyone know if they are all more or less the same and it doesn't 
matter which one you use, so long as it has the same fitting? Does a recon 
one come with an oil seal? Presumably a new one does? I have till the end 
of next month to get this car going, I don't want to go to Stoneleigh in my 
tin top Suzuki!
