I've had some odd warnings on installs of either QC or OpenCL not being supported on GPU's while doing installs on mini's and towers. In each of those cases, after restart, everything started working as expected.
I'm sure Troy's solution/link for determining of the GPU is compliant is robust, but I can't look at it. Is there any chance the solution could be posted on list?

After a brief search, I haven't been able to locate a list of capabilities that each card does support for the Mac, but there must exist such a list.
I honestly don't know whether that could be fixed in a software update, but it's always my job to ask folks to write up a bug whenever there is an issue :) I know the OpenCL team is very responsive.
