Some additional information: When the system boots, I can see those three lines at the top of the black screen: ----- Xen 4.6.6 (c/s ) EFI loader Using configuration file 'xen.cfg' vmlinuz-4.9.56-21.pvops.qubes.x86_64: 0x0....-0x000... ----- The hexa numbers at the end of the last line were long and it was not really possible to read them. Just a few milisecond after this is displayed, either the system gets back to the BIOS or boots Ubuntu, depending on how I was booting. Hope this will give you some ideas...
