No. If you place the wireless router near the computer and the
SpeadStream 4100 then you would connect the computer to the router with
an ethernet cable. Only the Radio would connect wirelessly. The
wireless router would go between the computer and the SpeatStream.

The wireless router will most likely have one port marked 'WAN'. That
would connect to the SpeeStream ADSL modem. There should then be
another four or more ports on the wireless router (it's actually a
switch built into the router) and the computer would be plugged into one
of these network ports.
