This is not entirely true. There is still everything in there you need to install a plugin, you would just have to do that manually. And while I haven't tested it, Logitech will no longer need a plugin to scrobble "everything" since the current track is now always managed on uesmartradio.com which means it has everything it needs to scrobble, no plugin needed.
