With great respect to your idea:

I think that people looking for mentors should surround themselves with
great people
then look to approaching certain individuals based on particular skills.

I'm not really sure how a program to organise this would work.

Although I believe that anyone who is serious about their career would be
stupid to pass up the opportunity for dedicated time from a mentor.

Sounds awesome Gabe, I'd still love to see something like this come to
tuition.
