Too much here to read. Synopsis...
1) VB Rulz
2) If it weren't for VB we wouldn't have the quality of application
development in MANY of the other languages today.
3) If it weren't for VB we wouldn't have the lack of quality of application
developers we have today.
4) No reason you can't use RBase (Oterro) with VB.
5) .NET is a platform for the future, yes it's been done before, but now
the theory will actually work with Microsoft behind it. By your notes, we
should all be writing COBOL, cause it's still around and hasn't changed
since the brontosaurus roamed the earth.
6) You cannot compare an OOP language like VB.NET and Rbase, that's like
comparing seltzer water to Pepsi. Yes they both have bubbles but one is
sweet and delicious out of the can, and the other tastes like crap until
complimented by something sweet and delicious.
7) Give Bill a hug, he's our friend.
