Dennis, Win2K or XP Pro would be the way to go. They don't crash. The Port Authority is standardized on Win2k. We have about 4,500 users using desktops and laptops connecting to all different types of applications. I am standardized on XP Pro at home (4 desktop pc's) and have had no problems with drivers or applications.

Which windows would you recommend? Seems to be a lot of bumps in the road in XP (pro and home edition?). Since most of my users are on a LAN, would it make sense to install NT on the Laptop?
