Dennis, I bought a Sony GR300K loaded f/bear back in June. (Win2KPro, 40GB, P3 1.2, 512MB, 15", etc - they now have a P4M version - at the time, the P4M didn't exist, just the regular P4, so it seemed that all the manufacturers were loading these big laptops, >8lbs, w/everything, hoping nobody would notice the weight - I figure 6+lbs is as big as a laptop should ever be, unless it's "hardened") We currently run NT-Server, TCP/IP here, and I haven't had any problems, to speak of. The only issues I've had to deal w/so far, is getting used to having a client-side system that seems so server-like and remembering that my D: drive is NTFS rather than FAT32, as my drive C: is.
