Some folks tend to read too much into a lot of things (not saying that
about anyone in particular, just sayin'). Grant and John and the rest
of the Riv folks are all really pragmatic about all their
philosophies, not just fenders. They try all sorts of things, and
figure out what works for them and the types of riding they do. I'd
encourage everyone else to do the same.  This isn't an us vs. them
thing.  It's just bikes. Try stuff, and figure out what works for you.
