"Are you guys saying that those Honda/TOYOta mini vans can do that?"
Yes. The (not so) mini-vans are quite tall inside, and have a low loading height. For trips, we used to rent Dodge Caravans & take out the 3rd row seat. 4 bikes (front wheels removed) and four riders fit comfortably. I tried this a couple of years ago with the Dodge product & it seems to have shrunk a bit. Just recalled we hauled our tandem in our '99 Honda Odyssey. 3rd seat folded into the floor, and the second row seats spaced apart. The tandem fit in between the 2nd row seats but I can't recall if the front wheel stayed on or not. Inclined to think so because it was so easy to do. Those vans can haul a LOT of stuff. dougP On Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 8:19:14 PM UTC-7, Lum Gim Fong wrote: > > My 1977 Firebird Trans Am seats any rivbike with front wheel stickin’ its > head out da T-top!!! > Kidding!!!! > Actually I didn’t get a 1975 Sting Ray precisely because no Rivbikes could > fit. > Double kidding!! > > I have a 2006 Camry LE and I can lay a Rivbike in with seats down and > front wheel off. > > But for my next car I would like something I could roll bikes in and out > upright and on their feet. > > Are you guys saying that those Honda/TOYOta mini vans can do that? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
